• Game Summary: Orion Drift, is the second game from Gorilla Tag creators, Another Axiom. This free-to-play virtual reality video game centers around community, adventure, and sport activities. Up to 75 players are able to play and engage with one another inside the station, and there are many community-led stations for specific interests within the game including: competitive Driftball leagues, parkour, and golf!

my role

I worked as an embedded co-development contractor with Another Axiom as a producer, and served on their leadership team for the game. My day-to-day responsibilities included production support for several cross-functional feature teams, aiding in process improvement and implementation, 1:1’s with developers to better understand their process, frustrations, and goals, as well as joining the leadership team in discussing community feedback and roadmap planning.

During my time on the project we transitioned from a closed early access project to a live service game open to the public. This transition required adaptability and many process changes to accommodate a regular and faster delivery cadence, as a producer my role was critical in listening and implementing developer feedback on process adjustments to find the best path forward for the team.
